If you Google this error message online you will be presented with a load of techy solutions which are unclear of how to follow or if you should be doing them. From a non technical perspective, I felt quite uncomfortable being asked to remove RAM to fix valorant-win64-shipping.exe or mess about in the command centre.
Instead, I hope to provide you with a quick and simple solution which worked for me (after trying all the others which didn’t work).
Note: this is clearly an issue with Valorant on Riots side and it will likely be resolved in the next day or so. Only do this if, like me, you’re dying to play some Valorant. Please re-install your anti-virus software after you have booted up Valorant as the game will now run. It is important to have anti-virus software on your computer.
Error Message: valorant-win64-shipping.exe
- Go to your start menu and type in Control Panel:
2. Click on Programs > Uninstall a program:
3. Search for your anti-virus software name, for me it was Avast. Click on Uninstall/Change
This will uninstall your anti-virus software. Be careful with doing this. You will want to reinstall it after you have booted up Valorant – I recommend installing the free version of AVG.
